Method One : RESTORING A BACKUP CREATED USING SIMPLE FUND'S or CASWIN BACKUP/RESTORE FUNCTION
The following method will restore your entire SFUND/CASWIN folder
1. Ensure Simple Fund or CAS is closed on all computers and servers.
2. In your SFUND or CASWIN directory open the file bglzip32.exe
3. On the Application drop down list select Simple Fund or CAS.

4. Click the checkbox to restore the non Nexus database files including the ELS,PDF, XLS, RTF and any ZIP files located in the SFUND folder or fund sub folders and CASWIN folder. If you wish to restore database files only untick this checkbox.

5. Select the Restore location where your backup is kept.

6. Click on the button.
Method Two : RESTORING A FILE/FOLDER FROM AN EXTERNAL (NON SIMPLE FUND/CASWIN) BACKUP
1. Ensure Simple Fund/ CAS is closed on all computers and servers.
2. On your server select Start >> All Programs >> Nexus >> Stop Nexus Service
3. Following your external backup software instructions restore the necessary file(s) or folder(s). It is important that unless restoring the entire SFUND/CASWIN folder that you do not restore files from Simple Fund/CAS version apart from the current version you are using. (eg. do not restore database files from version 11.0 into version 11.1)
4. On your server select Start >> All Programs >> Nexus >> Start Nexus Service.
Method Three (Simple Fund only ) : TO RESTORE INDIVIDUAL FUND'S FROM A BACKUP CREATED USING SIMPLE FUND'S BACKUP/RESTORE FUNCTION
1. Ensure Simple Fund is closed on all computers and servers.
2. On your server select Start >> All Programs >> Nexus >> Stop Nexus Service
3. In the location where your backup has been created a folder will be created for each fund which uses the naming convention of the Fund Code. In your SFUND directory the same folders and naming convention's will be used.
Copy the contents of the folder from the backup directory into the fund folder in your SFUND directory. eg. copy the contents in C:\sfund\SFBACKUP\TEST007 to C:\sfund\TEST007
4. On your server select Start >> All Programs >> Nexus >> Start Nexus Service
